Toestand goes Granada!
Benefit 13 May
Since 2015, we’ve been going abroad each summer: Kremenchuk, Ukraine in 2015 and Pristina, Kosova in 2016. This year, we’ll go to Granada with a group of 35 volunteers to renovate an abandoned building for the Verano Abierto festival in the north of Granda.
Our volunteers will make Spanish tapas, drinks and have a beach bar on the Biestebroek Day 13.05. All proceedings will go to our project abroad. So come and eat paëlla, drink cocktails and support the cause! We’ll also show you videos of the other projects abroad. Can’t make it? Mail firstname.lastname@example.org support the project by purchasing a support card.
Termokiss is the cultural centre in Pristina, Kosovo, we created last summer with local young people and a Swiss organisation. Today, they are crowdfunding for their necessary repairs and their general functioning. Support Termokiss!
On Mondays, there is no market on Marie Moskou. But you can come and listen, talk and sing at Radio Moskou! We invite you every Monday from 17:00 – 19:00 at the Marie Janson square. If you want to share your entertaining skills with others, get in touch on email@example.com.
‘Biestebroek coordinator’ and Toestand co-founder Niels Coppens had an artist residency in the city of Mönchengladbach between March and August 2016, where he occupied an abandoned hotel during 6 months. Lucas Destrijcker followed the project and wrote a booklet which is now available at Allee Du Kaai and Biestebroek or online.

The couple are now out of work, burdened with debts, and now risk losing their house. This is when François Ruffin, founder of the Fakir newspaper, knocks on their door, he will save them.
